The IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has revealed the reopening date of popular Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP). The IRCC is reopening the PGP on 28th January 2019 to accept 20,000 applications in the year 2019.
The PGP is popular program that permits the Canadians (permanent residents and citizens) to sponsor their parents and grandparents to get PR in Canada. The online Interest to Sponsor Form will be available for the interested sponsors with effect from January 28, 2019. Filling and submitting this form is the first step of PGP application. Once the required number of applications received, IRCC will invite the applicants (on first come, first served basis) to submit a complete application for PGP.
