To apply in AAIP Express Entry stream, you need to have your profile registered in the federal Express Entry System. You must mention Alberta as your preferred province while registering profile or simply select ‘All Provinces or Territories’ option. If your profile found suitable by Alberta, you will get notification of interest from AAIP.

You need to email a copy of the Notification of Interest letter to the AAIP within 2 weeks of receiving the letter from IRCC. Now, you will be informed about the further process to apply in AAIP.

What are the benefits of Alberta Express Entry Stream?

• Alberta- Express Entry stream accept the applicants with relatively low CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score, i.e. as low as just 300 points and subsequently, nominate them for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. 

• If you apply in AAIP- Express Entry stream and get selected by Alberta for the provincial nomination, you will get 600 additional CRS points in your Express Entry account. The addition of extra 600 points will make you eligible to receive Invitation to Apply for Canadian PR visa from IRCC in your express entry account.
