Which is the Easiest PNP to Apply for Canada PR 2020?

Canadian government or IRCC (Immigration Refugees or Citizenship Canada) have designed different pathways to allocate the permanent residency to the skilled and talented overseas workers and professionals. The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canadian provinces remain the easiest pathways to apply PR in Canada through the provincial nomination.

Canada has many PNPs, i.e. AINP, OINP, MPNP, NSNP, SINP, etc. however, when it comes to selecting the easiest province to get permanent residency of Canada, there two provinces one can name hands down, i.e.

  • Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and
  • Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

Let’s find out what makes them the easiest provincial nominee program to obtain the PR in Canada 2020.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

The Express Entry aligned stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, i.e. Express Entry- Human Capital Priorities (HCP) provides the easiest pathway to get Canadian permanent residency. As per the recent update, it is now accepting the applicants with low CRS score as well, i.e. below 400 CRS points, with its own criteria. Hence, it definitely is easiest pathway to get the Canadian PR with low points requirements.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program is perhaps the only PNP that offer the pathway to obtain PR in Canada without even having any job offer through its two subcategories, i.e.

  • International Skilled Worker (ISW) - Occupation in Demand (OID) Subcategory and
  • ISW- Express Entry Subcategory

Usually, the provincial nominee programs offer pathway without job offer through their Express Entry stream only. But OID stream of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) also helps the applicants to apply Canada PR without any job offer requirement.

Moreover, the ISW- Occupation In-Demand Stream of SINP, accept the applicants with lowest or basic language proficiency requirement, i.e. CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) 4 level. On the contrary, the federal Express Entry system as well as most Canadian provincial nominee programs demand the CLB 7 level of language proficiency from the applicants.

Although, above two PNPs offer the easy pathway to Canadian PR, however, it also depends on your profile which program suits you the best way.
