British Columbia Issued 92 ITAs in a new BC PNP Tech Draw

The Canadian province, British Columbia invited 72 eligible candidates in a BC PNP Tech draw held on June 15, 2021. In this invitation round, the province issued invitations under key Express Entry BC and Skills immigration sub-categories, which are exclusively managed by B.C.’s Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

 

All the candidates who received invitations needed a minimum provincial score of 80 points and are now eligible to apply for provincial nomination with B.C. for Canadian permanent residence.

AboutBC PNPTech Pilot

In this draw, the province invited only those candidates who were registered in any one of the BC PNP s stream and have a prior job offer of at least 1 year in any one of the 29 eligible Tech pilot occupations.

The Tech Pilot a fast-track immigration pathway for applicants with relevant tech skills and experience. A Tech Pilot solely supported around 4,200 tech workers and nominated them for Canadian PR since its inception in May 2017.

A BC PNP pilot help employers recruit and retain global tech talent to address labour needs by providing a fast-track, permanent immigration pathway for in-demand foreign workers and students.

To be eligible to apply under Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories, a candidate was required to create an online profile and register under BC PNP s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
