The Canadian Province Manitoba has issued 153 LAAs to candidates through the latest EOI based MPNP draw held on 9th April 2020. In this draw, all the candidates who have received their LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) are now eligible to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR.
In this invitation round, Manitoba has targeted the following key MPNP streams:
As per the information shared by the Manitoba's provincial government, out of total 153 LAAs, 123 were sent to candidates under Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream with the minimum score requirement of 500 points.
While 16 LAAs have been issued to Skilled Workers Overseas candidates. The invitations were issued directly by MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative with a minimum score requirement of 742.
The remaining 14 LAAs were issued to candidates under the International Education stream. Under this stream, there are three sub-categories including, Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway, and the Student Entrepreneur Pathway. But, the information regarding the minimum score requirement for international education stream candidates is not yet shared.
Additionally, 15 LAAs were also issued to the candidates under Express Entry provided they had a valid Express Entry ID and a job seeker code.

If we compare these two last draws, then we can see a rise in the minimum score requirement for both Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas categories.
But, there is a significant fall in the total number of LAAs issued to candidates under all three MPNP Streams as well.
