Saskatchewan Invited 534 International Skilled Workers in a new SINP Draw

The Canadian province, Saskatchewan opened a latest SINP draw on November 3, 2020 to invite total 534 immigration candidates. All the invitations are issued under two key sub-categories of SINP's International Skilled Worker stream, including Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand.?

To obtain an invitation in this draw, all the candidates were required to have submitted an EOI, i.e. Expression of Interest profiles under SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program). Now, all the invited ones under both the sub-categories are eligible to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.?

·        Invited Candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

Total Invitations Issued = 534

All those Express Entry candidates invited in this draw who qualified for an invitation with 68 points required to have prior 10 years of work experience and a CLB of 8 or above. Else, they required an EOI score of 69 points or above. Also, only 47 occupations were included in this draw under International Skilled Workers' Express Entry subcategory.

While, in case of Occupations In-Demand sub category, only 55 occupations were included in this draw and candidates required to have Educational Credential Assessments.

The SINP uses five key factors for assessing candidates and award them a score out of 100 using the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. The factors include:

  • Work Experience
  • Education
  • Language Ability
      • Age
  • Connections to Province

All the highest-scoring candidates are then invited to apply for a provincial nomination under Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.
