In a surprise Express Entry draw, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)invited 1,842 Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Another surprise in this invitation round was the minimum score requirement of only 397 points.
For 20th May Express Entry draw, the IRCC implemented the tie-break rule of April 24, 2021 at 12:09:24 UTC. It clearly states that the candidates who had obtained a minimum score of 397 or above and submitted their profiles before the said date and time had received their invitations.

With this invitation round, the IRCC has so far issued total 68,317 ITAs and has clearly surpassed the last year’s numbers, which was only 38,200 ITAs till 20th May 2020.
