The IRCC has announced its latest Express Entry draw to invite 3,500 Express Entry candidates. In this draw held on 5th February 2020, the invitations to Apply have been issued to high ranking candidates by IRCC and all the invited candidates are now eligible to apply for permanent residence visa of Canada.
In this February draw, the minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score to qualify to obtain an ITA was 472 points, which is one point lesser than the last Express Entry draw held on 22nd January 2020.
After receiving an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canada PR, all the invited candidates must submit their final and complete Canada PR Visa application along with required documentation as per the checklist to the IRCC within 60 days time period.
With this latest Express Entry draw held in February, the total number of ITAs issued by the IRCC under the Express Entry program has now reached up to 10,300 in the year 2020.
In the latest draw, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada have applied a tie-break rule of January 30, 2020, at 07:36:26 UTC. This clearly outlines that all the candidates who have scored 472 points or above and have registered their Express Entry profile before the mentioned time and date have received their ITAs for Canada PR in this Express Entry draw.

In 2019, the IRCC has issued 85,300 ITAs to eligible Express Entry candidates for Canadian Permanent Residency and now the Canadian government is targeting to issue around 85,800 ITAs to welcome talented new immigrants by 2020 through three of its federal economic immigration programs under Canada's Express Entry system.
Moreover, Canada's provincial governments are also planning to raise their annual admission targets and welcome up to 67,800 immigrants by 2020 and 71,300 by 2021 under several PNP programs and Express Entry aligned streams.
