This particular draw of express entry opened after some delay. Although, the reason for the delay hasn’t been revealed by IRCC, however, the delay in opening the draw played a key role in terms of raising the qualifying marks or CRS score requirement from IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada). The CRS score requirement increased by 7 points by the IRCC in the present EE draw to make it 466 points this time around.
The applicants were expecting a fall in the qualifying marks, after seeing the reduction in the cut off for last few draws, however, IRCC had other plans as it delayed the draw first and subsequently raised the cut-off to surprise the applicants a bit.
