In a latest OINP draw held on 11th May, Ontario issued 81 invitations to eligible applicants under Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream for the first time after launching a new EOI system. This time, the province targeted candidates who had valid work experience in any one of 23 eligible occupations, which includes 15 health care occupations and eight skilled trades occupations.

Please note, all the invited candidates are now eligible to apply for provincial nomination with Ontario. Out of 81 applicants, whoever will successfully receive nomination will get additional 600 points, which will virtually guarantee that they’ll get an Invitation to Apply for Canadian permanent residence with the IRCC (Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada).
In this latest OINP draw, the program targeted candidates who scored a minimum of 31 points or above, and have work experience in any of the eligible occupation.
