Alberta issued 262 NOIs to Express Entry candidates on June 21

Alberta province of Canada has announced 21st June draw results for its Express Entry aligned provincial nomination category. Total 262 NOIs have been issued to Express Entry applicants with a minimum cutoff score of 300, which is considerably lower than other cut-off scores announced in 2019.

With the announcement of this latest draw, the total number of invitations issued to Express Entry candidates to apply for the provincial nomination via Alberta Express Entry category has reached up to 3,816.

For the latest draw, the Alberta Government has not listed any eligible occupations. However, a candidate must be working in an occupation that aptly supports the diversification priorities and economic development in Alberta
Candidate must have a minimum CRS score of 300
A job offer or work experience in Alberta province is also not necessary to be eligible. However, priority may be given to those applicants:
- Who have a valid job offer or work experience in the province of Alberta
- Who have a Canadian post-secondary institution s degree
- Who have a child, sibling or parent living in the province of Alberta

How the AINP works?

Foreign nationals who receive a Notification of Interest letter from Alberta are eligible to apply for Alberta Express Entry stream. Those candidates who are eligible will be directly contacted by the AINP via their Express Entry profile.

If an Express Entry candidate receives an NOI letter or an invitation from the AINP, then he/she can submit their provincial nomination application under Alberta Express Entry category. Alberta then selects the candidates on the basis of their self-declared information provided in the Express Entry profiles.
