Manitoba Invited 299 LAAs in a new MPNP Draw
The Canadian province, Manitoba, invited 299 eligible candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence. In this latest MPNP draw opened on March 11, Manitoba issued 299 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to skilled workers and international graduates under key MPNP streams, including Skilled Workers Manitoba, International Education Stream and Skilled Workers Overseas.
With this draw, the total number of LAAs issued by the MPNP in 2021 has reached up to 1292.

Out of 299 LAAs issued, 261 were issued under the Skilled Workers In Manitoba stream with a cut-off score requirement of 459 points, 35 LAAs were sent to International Education Stream candidates. In contrast, the remaining 3 LAAs were issued under Skilled Workers Overseas Stream.
Additionally, 35 LAAs went to Express Entry candidates as well.
About Manitoba PNP
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program allows the province to select and nominate eligible applicants to move to Manitoba permanently based on selection criteria set by the province.
Interested candidates must register their EOI profiles under the MPNP to be considered for a nomination. All the EOI profiles are then evaluated, and candidates get the point score based on key factors like age, language proficiency, connection with Manitoba, educational qualification, work experience, etc. After evaluation and points allocation, a Letter of Advice to Apply is issued to all those among the highest-ranking once via regular MPNP invitation rounds.
