Manitoba Issued 199 LAAs in a Latest MPNP Draw on July 30

The Canadian Province, Manitoba invited 199 eligible candidates in a latest MPNP draw, which was held on July 30, 2020.

In this draw, all the candidates who have received their LAAs are now eligible to apply for provincial nomination for Canada PR.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) to eligible candidates under key Manitoba PNP immigration streams, which includes:

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba
  • Skilled Workers Overseas
  • International Education Stream

This was the 95th PNP draw making total number of LAAs issued to immigration candidates so far in 2020  up to 2,833.

Latest Manitoba PNP Draw Held on July 30, 2020

In this EOI (Expression of Interest) System based draw, Letters of Advice to Apply were issued to candidates who had registered an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the MPNP.

Skilled Workers in Manitoba

  • Number of LAAs issued: 157
  • Cutoff score requirement: 475

International Education Stream

  • Number of LAAs issued: 21

Skilled Workers Overseas

  • Number of LAAs issued: 21 (candidates were directly invited under MPNP's Strategic Recruitment Initiative
  • Cut off score requirement: 764

Please note, 15 LAAs were issued to candidates who had a valid Express Entry profile ID as well as a job seeker validation code.

Eligibility Criteria To Apply for MPNP Draw

In this draw, EOI from Skilled Worker Overseas candidates was considered valid only if:

  • They were invited directly under MPNP's Strategic Recruitment Initiative
  • Candidates under the Express Entry sub-stream have a valid Express Entry ID and a job seeker validation code
  • Candidates have verifiable experience in an occupation on In-demand Occupations list of Manitoba

In case a candidate with higher score than that of the lowest-ranked one haven't received an LAA, then the possible reason could be that:

  • He/she had indicate about taking an approved language test (third-party) to demonstrate language ability in English or French, but failed to submit a valid Test Number in his/her EOI
  • He/she had indicated about receiving an ITA to the MPNP directly under a Strategic Initiative, but failed to submit a valid invitation number
