The federal government of Canada has again invited 3,508 eligible candidates to apply for Canadian PR under the Canadian Experience Class.
In this latest program-specific draw opened on 25th June 2020, ITAs have been issued to candidates who have applied under Express Entry s CEC program with a comparatively lower minimum score requirement of 431 CRS points. The CRS score is recorded as the lowest CEC cutoff score since Canada’s May 31, 2017 draw, which was 413.
With this draw, the total number of ITAs issued so far in 2020 through Express Entry programs have reached up to 49,900.
The IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) had employed April 3, 2020, at 12:56:32 UTC as the tie-break rule for this draw.
Thus, all the CEC candidates who have scored 431 points or above and had submitted their profile before the mentioned date and time are the ones who have received ITAs in this round of invitation.
Since the onset of temporary travel restrictions due to Covid-19 in Canada, the IRCC has been conducting CEC and PNP draws to invite applicants for Canada PR.
The applicants under both categories are being invited over a span of three months as they are most likely to be living in Canada during this period of time in comparison to other Express entry programs.
Thus, they will be less impacted by temporary travel restrictions in place.

In Express Entry draw, the IRCC issues ITAs under its key economic immigration programs or specific programs to invite candidates from the pool on the basis of their CRS score and ranking.
