In the new Express Entry invitation round occurred on the 24 October 2023, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited 1,548 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) category candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency Visa.

In this particular immigration draw of the EE system, the IRCC has invited 1,548 Express Entry candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. The candidates with CRS score 776 points or higher received the ITA (Invitation to Apply).

Following this fresh EE draw, a total of 91,321 candidates have received Invitations to Apply for a PR visa in the 33 Express Entry draws conducted this year until date. The IRCC is alternating between opening Express Entry immigration draws for all programs and category-based draws.
Express entry draw analysis
The higher CUT OFF in this particular invitation round is because of the PNP specific draw, as the invited candidates already had provincial nomination and 600 points obtained based on the same.
However, this higher CRS score requirement from the IRCC is expected to drop again for the Category-based EE draws. The IRCC has started conducting the category based draws of the EE system, hence, the candidates who fall under the given categories are receiving the Canada PR invitation despite the low CRS score.
