How Canada’s Express Entry System Works?

The Federal Express Entry system is an online system that is used by the IRCC to manage PR applications from skilled workers.

To apply through Express Entry, you may follow the below mentioned steps:

·         Step 1: Find out your eligibility for any one of the three economic immigration programs managed under Express Entry, including:

ü  Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

ü  Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

ü  Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

·         Step 2: Get your documents ready, like English or French language test results, age proof, passport or other travel documents, education and skilled work experience proof, etc. to prove your eligibility.

·         Step 3: Submit your profile and if found eligible, the IRCC will accept you into the pool of candidates where you’ll be ranked using a point-based system, called Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

·         Step 4: Receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence of Canada
