Nova Scotia Issued 204 Invites to Express Entry Candidates on 4 Sep, 2019

In a draw held on September 4, 2019, the Nova Scotia has announced its first Labour Market Priorities draw after three months. In this latest NSNP draw, the province has issued 204 invites to Express Entry candidates.

Through this Labour Market Priorities Stream, Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) invites eligible candidates from an Express Entry pool of Canada to fulfill the province s labour market needs.

Launched in the year 2018, this particular NSNP stream has invited financial auditors and accountants, early childhood education workers, and French-speaking candidates from Express Entry pool. And in this latest draw, the stream has invited those Express Entry candidates whose first language is French and who have a scored 8 or higher CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) in French (including, reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities).

An NSNP spokesperson said, there was no minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement set by the province. Since the selected candidates also had to score a minimum CLB score of 6 or higher in the English language as well along with a bachelor’s degree.

 

In this latest draw, those Express Entry candidates who already have a provincial nomination will also receive an additional 600 points against their CRS score and will be guaranteed to get an ITA for to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

Candidates who have received their letter of Invitation in 4th September draw are supposed to submit their complete application within 30 calendar days to the NSNP.
