The latest draw of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) opened on November 1, 2018 to issue highest number of invites in any EOI (expression of interest) based draw of SINP.
The province of Saskatchewan invited total 926 candidates under Occupation in Demand (OID) and Express Entry Stream of itskeyprovincial nominee program, i.e. SINP.
Total 255 candidates received invite through Express Entry stream, while 671 people got invitation under OID subcategory.
Alberta has made key changes in the Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS) of its popular provincial nominee program, i.e. Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).
The province has removed the minimum income requirement from the AOS, while made changes to the minimum language requirement criteria.
The idea is to make the AOS process and requirement easy for the people. Removal of income requirement will be applicable to all applications submitted on or after June 14, 2018.
The popular Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) of Manitoba province has introduced the two fresh and quick immigration pathways, i.e. new International Student Entrepreneur and Graduate Internship pathwaysfor the foreign graduates.These programs have been especially designed for the foreign graduates of post-secondary institutions in the Manitoba.
Both new programs have been launched under the InternationalEducation stream of the popular Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) of Manitoba province in Canada.
The MPNP is one of the oldest provincial nominee programs of Canada and invited over one lack candidates till date in the province.
Canadian PNPs are an immigrant part of Canada’s Multiyear immigration plan of Canada. Recently, the government has updated its multiyear immigration plan which plans to invite 350,000 permanent residents by 2021.
The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) have got fare share in the overall planned intake. The provincial nominee programs have combined target of 255,100 for the four years of the plan, i.e. nearly 19% of the total intake (i.e. 1.3 million) as per the updated plan.
It will allow the different Canadian provinces to invite more number of skilled workers with an increased annual target year on year.
